Sanctuary of Stars is a non-profit Organization dedicated to scientific study of the Universe as a whole living organism, with the possibility of an abundance of Life forms, not only as we currently understand the Universe as being void of Life with the exception of our Earth.
Its purpose is to conduct this study through innovating research programs and share the gained knowledge with all who have interest or desire in this field of research.
A word about Astrobiology...
Being a branch of Astronomy, Astrobiology is dedicated to the search and study of Life forms existing actually or potentially in the Universe.
The focus of Astrobiology is to study how Life might develop and evolve, even in areas of Nature once thought uninhabitable or completely sterile due to the extreme conditions found in their original environments.
In fact, Astrobiology is not only about Astronomy and its different branches (like Astrophysics, Radio astronomy, Astrochemistry, etc.) but is an interdisciplinary science whose Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Climatology, to name just some of them, have their role to play ... and Philosophy as well.
